Message The new fan is working even better - I've been able to knock off about another 8F with the different fan and after changing the ECU code to turn on the aux fan at 171F, it too has provided about 5F cooler temps on top of that. And it has only come with a 7A penalty, still keeping the total current draw under 20A. The car is now operating in the 178-188F range while operating from 0MPH/idle up to full-load, spirited driving and interstate cruise. Interestingly enough, the new fan is only rated at about half the CFM of the Zirgo product, but it definately moves more air than the Zirgo. I seriously question the validity of the Zirgo fan CFM claims. Looks like we need to go more on how much current it pulls as that appears to give us a more accurate depiction of how much air it will move.

I'm not looking to stir the pot - I totally agree with what Spee once said, " There is no finished product. " I'm committed to the products I develop and will do whatever I can whenever I can to continue making them even better. There are currently active plans in the works for the e-fan setup so expect to see more in the near future. :)
