| at a time will show you the yield of that single component given that all other things are equal (temps, etc). But as I stated before, the MASSIVE intercoolers are built with 2.5" inlets and outlets specifically for mating to 2.5" intake plumbing. It is a complete kit. The suggestion to have put the MASSIVEs onto stock piping would be analogous to putting on just one tubular manifold and leaving the other stock. FWIW: I am planning to return back to PA very soon with a 60mm throttlebody-equipped plenum to put onto Dee's car and then perform testing once again to see the performance benefit of using 2.5" piping, MASSIVE SMICS, stock throttlebodies VS. 2.5" piping, MASSIVE SMICs, 60mm TBs. My efforts were designed around comparing one setup to the next. My choice of "setups" to compare were chosen to provide information that would be specific to as many people as possible who I felt would consider the upgrade. Those people being: TT owners with OEM piping and Stillen SMICs. In the 16 people involved in the groupbuy, two of them used the coupler kit to mate these ICs to OEM piping. The rest are sitting tight for the 2.5" intake piping. It appears to me that my original presumptions about who this setup would cater to have been reinforced.
