True. The modification or replacement of the output flange do not void the warranty. The differential stays the same. The only reason you need to replace or modify the right side output flange is because the unit is so much larger than the stock one it takes up all available room in the housing. The stock right output flange is approximately 1.10" longer than the left so Quaife designed the LSD to accept either a left flange or a modified (1.10" removed from the length) right flange. We offer a new Nissan right flange for those that dont want to modify theirs.
