| unless you tend to bottom out or scrape a lot. It's more of a "luxury buffer" than anything else at that point. Still, they wouldn't be a total waste but they aren't high on the priority list. When you have aftermarket manifolds/turbos, it's not a bad idea at all given the amount of weight on the components. That whole exhaust system from front to back weighs quite a bit and when it moves around (for whatever reason), it puts a lot of stress on the manifolds. The flex joints will help lessen that and are a good investment to protect the bigger investment.
