Message Ok during the really hot months if you do a lot of slow driving it is probably not a good idea for electric. However, in cooler months the fan never even turns on as long as you are moving forward at any speed, at least that is what I eperienced below 75 deg or so.

Cruising easy on the freeway, it wasn't even turning on even when it was 90 degrees outside, of course if I nail It a few times it will kick on for a moment and shut back off again, but that is great as far as I'm concerned.

One of the other nice benefits is when you fire it up cold in the morning it's nice and quiet, I used to hate the sound of that stock fan roaring away for no reason at all.
