Message	i'm in no way an expert on this, just going with a previous convo. But yea, some blocks are strong, some are weak as junk and 100% need a plate. Like an aluminum block of an LSx series motor i would think would warp like crazy without being torqued first. Just my thoughts. Maybe Kyle@IPP can chime in with more info since he builds some beast of a VG motors.
