Message which completely amazes me in the first place, I really doubt that aluminum with bolts holding it together is going to have an issue. The aluminum alloy I used is far from brittle and the U-mount is strongly reinforced by the steel collar going through the bushing with a 1/2" bolt torqued nice and snug so I really doubt I'll see any fatigue failures in the parts. The urethane converts the vibration into heat and the aluminum will do a good job of sinking that heat so hopefully we will see a reasonable service life from the urethane itself, which is likely the weakest point in the part.
