:[ http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1712797 ] I totally love that look. Really makes the engine bay less scary.:-First of all what should be worked on is the increase the inlet diameters to the Turbos.A dual pop is 2.5" to 2"(bottleneck) The more air a turbo gets the better. other then the TB, which I agree needs to be enlarged when compared to stock, I believe larger piping from the Intercoolers to the TBs is a big mistake. This is based on my ametuer beliefs and not fact. Howeever, my intent is to not set the plumbing of the system in stone. :- plenum design :single intake woud be less weight in piping. But you would need to have an intercooler system to support the 2 inlet 1 outlet.FMIC comes to mind:-( Im not against a proper FMIC. The plumbing, cross overs and collectors, would be difficult or unwieldy. But something to consider for sure. :- intake materials (composite)I believe that Damon still has the picture of the CF intake manifold and the other manifold pictures. yea, I've seen a lot of good examples of good composite plenums. But I have limited personal experience with complex shapes and multi-part molds... This is my BIGGEST stumbling block at the moment. Designing parts that can be assembled, stay assembled, and can be manufactered. :
