| next to me... but I was always "asked" if I had a sub somewhere in the car when people would ride with me... All I had a top of the line Alpine Pre-Amp online Deck, a PPI 450 Amp, only using two channels (I'd always intended to add the rears, but never got around to it, and didn't see the need) and had a pair of MB Quart 6.5" Speakers, on Plexiglass mounts, with the doors Dynamatted very well so they "became" the enclosure for the speakers. I'll have to look around for the pictures I have of the time/care I took installing the dynamat. Its a bit much, but its not over the top. I mean I have a full setup in my Maxima now (4 6.5" Boston Acoustics, 2 seperates up front, and 2 coaxials out back on the PPI450, and a 10" Xenon Sub in an enclosed box on a PPI250, which obviously has a good deal MORE bass). But it was way more than enough for a Z and definitely LOUD enough to cruise with with the speakers blaring.
