Message The 2860R and 2860RS are maps for the exact same turbo. the 2860RS map is one garrett made themselves later (IMO to make the turbo fit better - on paper - in their new expanded product line). The 2860R turbo map reflects the orginal testing by Jim Wolf on the disco potato. If you look carfully they are very similar they just don't test the one marked 2860RS to as high a preasure ratio. There was a TON of disscusstion on this on tt.net a while back. Originally, when garrett redid their website they took down what is now the 2860R map and put it in its place the gt2860RS map - there was an uproar and then they put it back up labled gt2860R side by side with their new (less extensivly tested map). They are the same turbos, just tested (and marketed)differently. Much of this is in search look for posts by myself, Greg Dupree and slowninja(thedevils'sZ).
