Message	larger area to put the pressure of the car out over, softer so the frame rail will compress down onto it. The thing that troubles me about your setup is that there is nothing to prevent the sheering effect, if for some reason you have a car wanting to omve backwards I could see a block slipping on top of another block and then having a falling car.
