I'm guessing the NA with TTs is a bad idea after all? (n/m) posted by TBlakeZ (NorCal) on June 10, 2006 at 01:05 AM |

We ran 14psi on the street, autocrossing, and on the track, and never a hint of detonation, so I'm not thinking abuse or the 10.5-1 compressoin as being issues. The question my mind goes to is was this simple bad luck, rod bolt nut working it's way off, or is there an intrinsic structural weakness in the NA's rods compared to TT rods? I don't know, we'll need to dig into the motor and see if we can divine an answer, and that will take some time...
