| Bingo, TBlakeZ wins a prize for recognizing that as a wrist pin. So here's the last interesting bit of data, and then we can all ponder back and forth what the root cause was until Michael and I have a chance to tear it down and see what truly happened: The order in which I found those 3 parts on the track are left to right. First the rod bolt, 20 paces further on the small bit (pretty sure it's part of a piston), and then 2 paces further the amazingly sheered NA wrist pin. Best guess we have at this point is that the rod bolt nut walked off and everything slowly came apart (I was idling along doing 40MPH when this failed, having heard the knock, so this was not a WOT explosion). But, honestly that's just an educated guess, we haven't had enough time to really think it through nor pull the oil pan off, so if anybody has better ideas please don't hesitate to add them to the pot and we'll stir it. Now you can see why I tried to draw this drama out, besides have some fun, as RacerZX updates will be few and far between for a while... I'll put video up of the incident some time this weekend when I have the stomach for it.
