Message "Consider this: the engine may operate a few degrees warmer with an electric fan dependent on the operating conditions, the additional heat will tend to slightly reduce performance of the engine, however, don't overlook the fact that you no longer have a mechanical fan sucking power directly off the crank, of which is "giving back" power to you. You nor I can say exactly which aspect has a greater effect."

So more or less, you're saying that going with your electric fan setup is pretty much a wash, speaking in terms of horsepower. Granted, you could be "getting back" more power from less parasitic drag than you are losing from the higher operating temps. But, as you said, neither you nor I can say exactly which aspect has the greater affect. And people have to pay for this. So, where's the benefit? Why is it that a Z32 owner should buy this electric fan setup? (I'm asking honestly. I think it's a valid question. So if all you're going to do is reply with some bullshit about how I'm attacking you, don't bother.)

I'll stick with my "power robbing", known to work optimally, cools better than any other, stock fan setup. Thanks.
