Message with electric fans is that the fan *must* have a shroud or it won't pull nearly as much air through the core of the radiator. He recomended the Flex-a-lite 150. It has 2700 cfm, a nice shroud and a built in thermostat, fits the Z with a little space around the sides to allow natural flow on the freeway and it works perfect so far. I have not seen temps over 90 yet but I can say the fan never even turns on as long as I'm rolling along. I was at Watkins Glen a month or so ago, it was 85 deg and the water temp never went over 200 deg even during 4 20 min sessions of full throttle abuse. I do credit most of that to a large aluminum dual core radiator but hey, it's still a good test.
I also wired it right to the battery so it runs for a few min after the engine is cut which works great with the thermostat controlling it.
