Message	A friend had an aftermarket fiberglass hood on his mustang. No matter what, the hood flexed just enough that the stock hood latch couldn't be trusted so he put in hood pins. Eventually he sold the car to another friend who had the hood fly up similar to yours, only the hood pins were still in place, the fiberglass itself tore through where the pins were.
