Message We say all day long that "with the proper mods" the GT28RSs can have decent spool. Don't forget that those "proper mods" will run $10-15k at a minimum.

The sport 530/gt28r can be strapped to a stock engine, without cams, headwork, manifolds etc, and be a fantastic turbo straight out of the box.

I think that you, I, and a few others here sometimes forget the amount of work/money it has taken to get our cars to where they are today when we give advice like this :-)

With all these posts lately, it has never been my intention to make it seem like i was dissatisfied with the sport 530s - they are amazing turbos. I've never been in a turbo car that was as responsive as my sport 530 setup.
