Ok -- it seems as though I am being mis-understood, so let me shed a little more light... I am a production manager/head of R&D for a multi-million dollar electronics company based out of the Los Angeles Area & also a HUGE Z enthusiast (own one, love one), so here's the deal... I keep my eyes open for new products, if I like what I see & use, I try to introduce it to dealers & distributors to help move the product along... at no benefit nor gain to me... I do the research & testing only! I have a degree in software engineering with an undergrad emphasis in electrical engineering so this helps me in evaluating new products. As for Gizzmo, sure they blew me off, this I don't mind. What I mind is the manner they took in doing so. When I introduced myself on the phone (& also had in my original e-mail... omitted from the reply), it was not as a consumer, it was as a prospective dealer/distributer for the product... aimed at helping the company break the US niche market for the z32, STI, & EVO... BUT before doing so, I asked WHERE I could get one (not for free mind you... I pay retail for testing products without any qualms, it comes with the territory) to see if it really was a viable product to look at... and basically got told to piss off. This was what left me feeling a little sour in the mouth. -- Basically a normal response would be, I'm sorry, but we are commited to... & our hands are tied. This is a normal (& respectful) brush off in the industry. As you can plainly see, this was not what was dealt... hence left me thinking what am I to expect from any of your sales team? support team? etc...
