:keep in mind for scheduling purposes that Bike-toberfest takes place during the last week of October. So try to schedule towards the first half of the month. Typically the weather here is perfect during October as the humidity is low and temps have cooled off from the summer heat.
:Although the biker event is really only supposed to be over a weekend the bikers have been stretching the event out each year. They'll typically start showing up the week prior to the actual weekend of the event. This is important because if the schedule overlaps the event it will be difficult to secure hotel rooms, and since the hurricanes a few years ago many of the smaller more affordable hotels have been leveled for condos. There's still many places to stay along the beach but try to plan accordingly.
