| Kind of a funny story (depending on which side of the lugwrench you're on). For me, it all started when I left for ZCON last week. Two and a half hours into the drive and I just crossed into New York when I realize that I didn't pack my lug nut key. Oh well, I know a way to get them off, and I think I packed the right tools for the job. No worries. Fast forward to last night: Several of us were in the parking garage getting ready to prep the cars for track day at MSR. Adam (NoVA) needed new rear brake rotors and so his car was first up for work. Then it's discovered that he doesn't have his lug nut key. Bernie goes into work mode and removes the locking lugs from Adam's car and he graciously tackled my locks after taking care of Adam's (he was already dirty and it turns out that I didn't pack what I needed to do the job anyaway). Now that I can get to work on my car, Bernie has started to work on his car (swapping out brake pads). No lug nut key....He had it the day before, but now it has vanished *POOF*. Back to the task that he thought he had completed. He gets his car taken care of and between TT XTZ and Governor, we're all able to secure our wheels with the extra lug nuts (and in Governor's case, a locking lug nut set - with a key) - thanks a million to you both. We thought this episode was over until this morning at MSR, Greg (Dallas) discovered that his lug key vanished too. By this time, Bernie is walking around fully convinced there is a worm hole just big enough to let a lug nut key slip into another dimension without distrubing anything else. I'm happy to report that Bernie was able to take care of Greg's car. But there is a tenseness in the air over this situation and we're wondering.....who's next? Dave
