Today was overall a bad day for myself and the Z. First off, I was taking my TT Z to get work done, and before I headed out I was gonna get some gas, no big deal. Car battery is been crapping out lately, and sometimes it has trouble starting. So I pump the gas, go to start my car and nothing...greattttt. My fault, but still wasn't a good way to start my day. So, My dad was riding along because I've never driven to this place and he was helping with directions and such. I push the car out of the gas spot and out of the way of everyone. We're waiting for jumper cables to be brought to us from a blue jeep comes flying in with their loud ass rap music, my dad and I just glace to see, because..well who wouldnt? The passenger looks and says " What the fuck are you starring at, I'll kick your fucking ass". Keep in mind their are about 5 of these assholes in this jeep just constantly talking shit, and theres basically nothing we could do, 5 vs 2...just out numbered. That's the tough thing to do, talk a bunch of crap when you outnumber the other people. So they talk a bunch of crap and leave after 5 minutes, we jump the car and we're on our way. We're at the light getting ready to turn left to get on the ramp for the highway, the car won't go into gear...the shifter bushings needed replaced and that's one of the things that I was replacing today...but that wasn't the problem. The shifter you could now LIFT up, move freely, something deff. broke and I was in trouble. I finally got it into 2nd gear, got on the highway, but there was no getting it out of gear or into another gear. We took the first exit off, which was a state building with the trucks and salt. The sign said unauthorized vechiles don't enter..but still. Some guy comes and asks us what the problem was, so they apprently called the cops to come get more info. The trooper showed up asking a bunch of questions, ran our plates, which I had a dealer tag on and could of gotten in trouble for, but I guess he thought we had enough problems. I had to call the mechanic and explain to him what happen, he gave me a tow truck number and in about an hour here he comes with the roll back. Sorry this is so long, I'm just releasing stress.
