Message	extend it to one side using the stock U bend because that will just make your car slower and less responsive. Instead make a dual intake elimanting the stock U bend and going straight under the headlights. This will ulimately shorten your intake piping and make your car a little more responsive and it will gain more horsepower as well. I gained 15 horsepower and 13 ft torque going from a single intake with the stock u bend to a dual intake going straight under the headlights.
