| There are some excellent points made in the AMZ tech article but it's all besides the point. You're simply trying to educate people that A) don't care B) don't know their ass from a hole in the ground or C) have their own tried and true way of doing things. To be honest, the article makes some good points but using that to justify an FMIC is silly because there's a hell of a lot more to the decision than what's listed. Give me one benefit and I'll show you two that are drawbacks. That's how they have always been on Z32s specifically and that's how they will always be short of a VERY small selection of properly designed FMICs that if you reroute things and if you spend a whole bunch of coin on you will get roughly equal performance to SMICs. The fact remains the only people that keep harping on it are those that are trying to justify their own decisions to the rest of us. Guess what? We don't care. People should do what they want and not care what we think. FMICs have their place and whether or not you or anyone else fits that criteria is pointless to bitch about.
