Subject	Help! Any issues with driving without the eng splash guard?

Message	After 1500 miles i rolled into Newport Beach, CA and at the first stop light my engine splashguard decides to detach from the car (might have been a tumbleweed about 400 miles ago that caused some damage.. not sure.) The front screws came out or something and it is violently flaping against the ground and the bottom of my Z at anything above 20MPH. Can it just take it off and drive without it? (I am headed to Seattle... so i would be driving 1500 miles without it!... Or should i change my plans a pray that a dealer around here is open tomorrow morning and just happens to have one in stock. I might try to zip tie it up but it looks pretty trashed in front so i am guessing that wont work.:( thanks in advance. -greg
