Tires (chance to upgrade), and brakes (again chance to upgrade). The other work I've done was not "really" needed, so those were upgrades for the fun/desire of them. When I bought my car 5 years ago, it was only 5/6 years old and had under 50k miles on it. I looked at the car fax so had an fair idea about its history, and felt comfortable over paying a dealer for it, I spent his cap plus another 10. Wish I had more forum experience at the time, I probably could have save a few grand. My point being, a well maintained N/A is just as reliable as any civic and a lot more fun to own. Though gas (premium @ 17 mpg), and routine maintenance (Mobile1 instead of dino) may cost a bit more than the civic when it's needed. Just my $.02
