A couple of thoughts. I bought a '93 NA last month with 46k miles from the original owner with all the paper work, 5-speed, 2 seater, t-tops for a hair under 9k. I took my time but I expanded my search to across the country instead of 200 miles. As luck would have it, the one I found was 100 miles away. I couldn't be happier. All original, bose stereo, all the keys, t-top bags, original floor mats, etc. It's taken me years to find this one. I had found a '92 Twin Turbo version for 13k that was 560 miles away. When I called the seller I agreed to buy it for 13k, he called back later and said a guy offered 14.5k for it. That car had 68k on it, I felt 13k was fair and wasn't about to get in a bidding war. On top of that he had no receipts, he bought the car to flip it, he was a young man and I kept thinking he had probably driven the crap out of it for a while and now something was probably wrong with it as he was very coy about the whole sale. Anyway, my point is that I believe you can find a good one owner Z32 for a reasonable price without a rebuilt engine, without a hacked up interior, bad aftermarket cheesey bodykit, etc. if you take your time and look. I've spent the last 5-7 years (on and off, mostly off) looking for a good clean one owner Z. I'm not special, just a bit persistent perhaps and if I can find one, you can too! Good luck. I will say this, after all this time, it was worth the wait!
