Message Warning..this post isn't that exciting, but I'm sick and bored..so why not.

On this beutiful summer day in Texas somehow I am sick as a dog with flu like symptoms..yay! Since I'm sick and basically doing nothing at my sis's house, I decided to go do things on the Z that I usually do not have patience to deal with.

I traded my original set of circle B&B exhaust that I owned since new for a set of oval B&Bs with another local member here on the forum. The exhaust that I gave him was real shiny and had basically no carbon buildup (I run highflow cats). Also, the carbon build up that was on it could very easily be washed off with water. On the other hand the exhaust that I got from them was VERY dirty and had the most wicked case of baked on carbon build up that I have ever seen from years of running VERY rich with also I believe no cats or precats. Needles to say, I'm still very pleased he traded with me, cause obviously those minor things can be fixed.

Anyways, today I decided to polish them up on the outside, and the inside and my god I'm glad I did it today cause I would never spend this much time on this usually. Each side took a good solid hour to clean to my likings, then I also applied a "nano polish" and coating from Autozone (worked on my others) to each tip. Now it looks great and I'm very happy the results. Also, now when it gets dirty I can just do like I did with my old ones and wipe them down with a normal cloth since I put that seal on them. Anyways, onto a couple pics. If you have time I recommend doing it cause you wouldn't think it makes a difference, but it really does IMO. To most, it prolly doesn't matter though and that's cool.

Before...dirty yuck

After...much better

Here you can see both so you can tell how much of a difference it really does make on the car. This is after I took it for a good 25-30 mile spin in the area and came home. A quick wipe with a cloth and back to shiny....time to do the other side! It really does make a difference, so if ya got time..go out and do it! Once you do it once, it'll just be like cleaning wheels ect..where if you do it a little regularly maybe once a week, then you will never have to go all out for hours on it again and it should look good for years..

Thanks,
Mike
