:A question about brake pads - I have fresh Hawk HPS pads on the car now, and slightly used Blues in a box. You said they should be bedded in, but I've also heard it's not good to do regular driving with those. How do I handle this? Drive all week with your HPS.
The night before, or even two days before, Have spee put
your Hawk Blues on.
You can run Hawk Blues for a few days before and after, but
they do terrible damage to the rotors when cold, they
squeel, and the dust like mad. The dust, when wet, is killer. It turns to concrete and
damages chrome/paint. So after your track event, go get
her prettied up again.
