The body shop had to smash my rear window in order to get the moulding out. I doubt this had to happen (but insurance paid so no worries), however, keep in mind that is very difficult to get the rear glass out without proper tools and the general know-how. Also, the moulding is VERY expensive, it is in the hundreds if I recall correctly, so salvaging one may be your best bet. It may be cheaper to find a rear hatch the same color as your car and just swap it out, all problems solved. Good luck. Ian
