Message	day, not a race, correct? You're a beginner so you won't be testing the limits of your vehicle. You will experience some brake fade. I would put more importance on a good synthetic brake fluid and some SS brake lines. Since money is an issue for you, I would keep the extremely abrasive Hawk Blues off your rotors. Enjoy, have a good time, and do NOT set your emergency brake when you get off the track.
