I prefer reliability over power. Although I WOULD like power, I'd much rather not be stuck on the side of the road with a dead car. I want a Z, because it's a Z, and because Z's are beautiful cars, powerful or not. That's it. Other than that, though, Todd pretty much nailed it. The one thing he doesn't know, though, is that I AM aware of what kind of insurance costs I might be facing. I've already realized that variable as well (which, actually, is one of the reasons why I'm deciding to at LEAST start with a NA). It's certainly not a cash thing...heck, the prospect, as a whole, is not even an issue for me yet. For the time being, I'm just trying to enjoy what little pleasure I can take in dreaming. Without a doubt, though, this dream is going to be realized...honestly, I don't see any harm in getting things aligned before-the-fact. Once I get a Z, I'm going to want to really know the car, inside and out, as wholesomely as I can. Although I may be ignorant of the details, I know damned well that I wouldn't even put forth the effort of buying/lightly modding a Z unless I knew I was ready for the expense. I'd like to get things planned out though, at least, because it certainly is inevitable.
