| ...and boost is nice =) if you recall i posted about a 91TT with 40K original miles on it. 5 speed. it took me an hour to get there to check it out and here's my impression... the interior was very clean and was indicative of the mileage. leather seemed close to new. the shifter felt very tight with no play at all. the stock boost gauge was operational and i hit 9psi more than a few times. driving impression? 2nd and 3rd gear above 3K rocks in a TT! it wasn't the neck snapping i expected, but more of a gentle push to the back of the seat. haha. but how quickly the TT accelerates from 50-80mph. below 3K however, i felt like i was driving a big heavy tank. clutch felt stiffer, and the car just felt crazy heavy. sluggish feeling compared to the NA. dunno maybe it was just in my head... now the bad. the wing was rotting. no biggie. however, the bumper color WAS off and it wasn't the lighting of the pic. the passenger side wasn't entirely in line with the rest of the body neither. it may have been an accident but probab a minor one since everything is perfectly inline under the hood. one big thing i did notice was that the car was overheating at idle. not the best of news. asking price was $10.5K. new york. any takers? email me and i'll give you the info. i think i may pass on this one =/ the search goes on... p.s. i certainly hope that stage3 is a world of a difference from stock. cuz stock sucks... when it comes to boost level =P
