l day and cost upwards of $700 to install plus alarm? This is what I heard..I can't imagine that much for a $350 alarmDBD::ODBC::db prepare failed: (DBD: st_prepare/SQLAllocStmt err=-2) at incl_db.pm line 314.

to be twice that to install. Anyone?

I was shopping for Alpine before and these are my fuzzy memory numbers:
*Remote start: dunno the apprx cost, but say $100 option added to Alpine
*Door actuator: $15x2=$30+90 labor for 2 doors = $120
(with Alpine, you still need door actuator with to work with its module, sucks even you have power lock)
*window motors (for up and down): say $120 for 2 sides
(with Alpine's main module, I remember the guy told me that I will need 2 seperate motors for up and down on each side. This window option is a costly option with Alpine. My alarm system needs only a relay and I can roll it up with remote, but to roll down, I need a motor or whatever device)

so, $100+$120+$120=$340
and $340+$350(alarm and basic install)=$690

The optional labor+parts ($340) is just a guesstimate number, But I think it's more than that.... Somebody correct me with some better numbers :-)
