on a Z beacause the metal is so thin. When you weld the holes and if your not careful, you can easily warp the metal. It also has alot to do with how you detatched the spoiler. If the spoiler was pulled to hard in certain areas the metal can stretch causing demples and bumps. This can be a nightmare for a bodyman. If he does it properly he has to slick the hatch with bondo several times before he primes it. And if doesnt wait long enough for the bondo (or puddy) to dry between applications, it will cause tiny bubbles in the paint after the car has been sitting in the sun for a while. There are more procedures to take but theses are the most important for a Z due to the fact of what type of metal it is and the thickness of it. so i would say that 400 is worth is as long as he knows what he's doing. Is he gonna wet sand and buff it or just let it ride? If he is, ask him if he would wet sand your quaters also just to make it blend a little better.
