Subject	Questions on the rear differential

Message	I think I found my answer to this already by searching but just to double check...my car is making a whine sound that gets higher and louder as I speed up, the opposite as I slow down...put in the clutch (or put the tranny in neutral, sound is still there). Is this the rear diff bearing? I tried searching about the rear diff but had some problems with the search so I'm going to ask this as well...would it be easier to just replace the entire rear diff or just the bearing? or can you even just change the bearing? I haven't seen anything in the FAQ, has anyone posted instructions on how to do a rear diff removal/installation? thanks!
