and the metal is soft, the pipes are fairly easy to reshape. See Max865(ATL) response above. In my case, because very little reshaping was required, I just took a small wood block, about 1/2" square on the end and 4" long, placed one of the square ends on the area of the pipe that needed to be pushed out, and tapped the opposite end lightly with a hammer. As I tapped I moved the wood block along the pipe, until the deformed area became round.
