| But just looking at it, my thoughts are all the tight bends you add. You still have the original internal 90 degree bend. Then you add the one where it goes into the external wastegate. And then you add another one where it exits the external wastegate. Also you throw the wategate air back into the main exhaust flow at a tight angle disrupting the flow there as well. I think the main thing is that you still keep the stock wategate intake and that seems to be the biggest hurting point of the internal system. These are just my thoughts off the top of my head right now. But I also see how the working of an external wastegate itself is better than an internal. But I'll look up and see if I can find his info he sent me. I was very interested in doing it back when I had my wastegate problems with my PE1420's. I had seen it done on another guys Z in a magazine I picked up. And then I saw member xxx (forget his screen name, he's in Austrailia) had them on his PE1420's. Then I saw Azheat's a few yrs ago. So I got ahold of Greg to see if he would make a set for me. He pretty much talked me out of it. Mikes are the 3rd set I have seen, I'm sure there are more out there so I'd like to know how much better or worse they work over the turbo's "stock" set up.
