Subject	Turbo Manifold? External Wastegate?

Message	Will replacing a stock turbo manifold help a lot with gains at all? or does the stock manifold already have a really good design? Also i come from cars that usually like external wastegates and the 300zx seems to be an internal wastegate type of animal...is there any benefits from the internal? would there be any performance difference by going to an external wastegate route?
