Actually I have turned many wrenchs in my life on domestic cars and this is my fourth Z car of which I have done a lot of my own work.(79 280ZX 2+2, 86 300ZX, 93 NA 2+2(still own), and this 90 300 ZXTT(still own). I know I dont have to tell you, the TT is sooo different from other vehicles and I am learning more and more every day. I am a sales manager by day for Z-unrelated industrial PLC equipment to commercial accts which pays for my expensive toys and hobbies. At night I play for two bands and also do this Z stuff on the side. To say the least, I am very busy. I am set up with several venders and provide parts such as JWT, RPS, JDM motors, etc,etc. The TT is soo different from other cars and I have had Ash come up for several different motor/turbo swaps and dyno tuning sessions from my residence while myself (Turbo-FX)and Ash(AshSpec performance and Dee(Devils Z) have supplied the parts. It has turned out great so far and hopefully someday soon, I will have enough time from my day to day job and 2 band shuffle at nights and on weekends to actually go out and look at shops for my own business to run and handle the day to day sales.. For right now, I am trying to juggle them all. Hope this better explains your statement.
