Message If you are using I.E. and have your software set to automatically install updates or maybe you just manually did an update yourself you might be having problems related to it and not know it. So NO it's not your computer. Last week after my auto update I found I could not load the video page of my website without I.E. locking up. I called MS and informed them of the situation and that I though it was related to the recent update. After explaining what was happening they informed me that I was the forth person to report the problem and that there was indeed a problem.

The problem exists with webpages that have multiple flash buttons. If there are only a few flash buttons you will experience a bogging down when trying to maneuver the webpage. If there is a LOT of flash buttons (like there are on my video page) the browser will lock.

If your system has this update you will notice that when you position your mouse over a flash button you will first see an outline of the button. If you wait before clicking it you will see a tooltip pop up which says, "Click to activate and use this control". You have to click it once and then click it again to use it. This esentially means that now you have to click flash buttons twice to do anything with them. There is no option to turn that off either (not user friendly at all).

The MS person told me they were going to transfer me to a different tech and that the waiting time would be 5 to 15 minutes. I put the speaker phone on and waited over 40 minutes for someone to come on before hearing a few clicks and being disconnected. Oh well. I guess will have to redo the way my website is layed out, not that my website is a big deal or anything but I'm sure there are other sites that are. I've been checking for new updates to see if they've fixed the problem but haven't seen anything yet.
