Message	The stock VG block will only last until detonation though. With cast pistons they will hold the power but can only tolerate very little detonation. Yes crank and rods are strong. I wasnt disagreeing with you though, i agree, the VG block is much stronger in its STOCK form, although the VQ can be upgraded. The VG has also been around over 15 years now, the VQ is fairly new. Give it time, im sure people will pull plenty of reliable, proven power out of it.
