Message I saw it demonstrated on a Supra. The shifter is normal h-pattern for shifting. Put it in first and lock a ring down and it becomes sequential. You can't down shift or go in reverse. Unlock the ring to go back to normal shifting.

Dynoed 400 RWHP @ 19 psi
384 RWHP @ 17psi
On Stock Turbos.

Dynoed 515 rwhp and 420 ft.lbs @ 16psi 89 degrees.
533 rwhp and 450 ft. lbs @19 psi and slipping clutch
and heat soaked motor , 85 degrees.
