Message and like I said, there wont be a halt to gas consumption from exxon stations, it only needs to go so far as to cause a downward trend or dip.

The station owner still makes money, just not as much as before. Considering how many exxon stations there are across this country, if this became commonplace at half of them, you bet exxon would "notice" that "little bit" of gas not being sold. They, and every other company remotely near the size of exxon, have entire departments whose job it is to "notice" things like that.

Is everyone that attached to exxon gasoline?

On a sidenote, since when do people become so gravely concerned about the poor exxon station owner? He/She will be alright, do you know what it costs to buy into that franchise? I dont, but I know a similar franchising juggernaut, McDonalds, cost some serious coin, easily 6-figures (or at least it used to 10 yrs ago anyway) maybe more. I cant imagine an Exxon franchise would be any less.

Point being, just because you want to disagree, dont feign concern for someone that
A) needs no concern
B) you never even thought twice about before.........as if every time you filled up at exxon you had a smile on your face because you knew little susie or billy's parents could now afford to feed them twice a day.
