Message If you have any doubts of the history of when the last time the timing belt was replaced, I would recommend replacing it now. The job is not too bad, just very time consuming.
I, on the other hand, have never replaced the t-belt on my J30 and that has 148,000 miles. Not recommending that you do this but just an example of how long it can really last.
