| a lot of the muscle car guys will cut out what is bad then replace it with a good piece buy welding it in place. But when welding go in a rotation starting with the welds far apart and then getting closer with each rotation which will help with not warping the metal. After that use a hammer and dolley to make all the high and low spots go away as the metal will wrinkle up a little Then sand the welds down so you have a smooth surface for primer and paint.
