Message My Z got rear ended today by an ex-DWI driver with an ignition interlock. There was not extensive damage because the impact was only at about 15 - 20 mph. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much to look for when it comes to damages in parts and labor so that I don't get screwed when his insurances assesses it... Here is what will need replacing/repainting: rear bumper cover, rear bumper support (metal frame of bumper), license plate lights and license plate light bracket.
Also, the pressure plate on my clutch seized up on me when leaving the accident. It was inevitable, seeing as it is a fatigued stock clutch, but it still happened at the most inopportune time. I say it is the pressure plate b/c the clutch is is engaged at all times, regardless of pedal position, hydraullic systems look fine, and petal pressure is not uniform. Oh well... time for a new clutch and a new rear bumper...
