Message was done with the car level. I blocked the car up using 6x6x12 treated lumber stacked three high. This gave me 1' 6" of clearance between the floor and bottom of the car which was plenty of room to work comfortably from a creeper. After finding the balance point and lifting the motor up I used the load leveler to angle the engine and transmission at an incline as seen in the picture. Once the oil pan cleared the steering rack I pulled everything forward and gave it a little more incline. To give more clearance because of the transmission I used a 3 ton floor jack at one of the front jack stand points (you only need to support one side as the car will just pivot up and down while supported at the rear) to support the car and removed one 6x6 block from both sides which supported the front of the car and then lowered the car to rest onto the two remaining blocks that were on each side. This gave plenty of clearance to roll out the complete motor and transmission assembly.
