Wolf- If I remember your post correctly, the tech at the dealership was cited, was he not? So basically we have a joy riding tech who totalled a customers car. I would spit at them if they made an offer like that to me. It seems they are just trying to put this incident behind them and move on as quickly and quietly as possible. *I* would want a minimum of $25K plus have them cover all legal costs, and the car back in my possession. If they did not agree, I would persue this in the court and cite them for negligence. You also owned a car that was not imported after 96, which makes a clean example hard to come by. I would DBD::ODBC::db prepare failed: (DBD: st_prepare/SQLAllocStmt err=-2) at incl_db.pm line 312. Can't call method "execute" without a package or object reference at incl_db.pm line 327. also throw in all the publicity they could ever want. I would call the BBB, Nissan North America, and every newspaper, radio and TV station in the area. Then again, thats just me. ;) Best of luck with whatever decision you make. It is really sad when an event like this happens and no fault of your own. I would have a different attitude if someone hit your car while it was in their possession, but that is not the case. What does your lawyer think? Walter ZX_man
