but i have to ask. why did you have your hand on the ebrake? if its semi wet conditions, pulling the ebrake hard enough will lock the rear wheels, making the back less controllable than it already is. one senario to pull the ebrake is because the fronts are under heavy understeer and getting rid of that would be transfering slip to the back, i.e clutch kick, throttle, or ebrake. sorry, im not saying you did things wrong, cause you did save your nice Z. its just that when i read that you had your hand on the ebrake, pulling it in the rain would might make things more complicated to correct.
