went back to cc to swap out headunits, and it turns out that i'm having the same issue. i tried swapping ground points behind the radio and same issue =/ i guess its the amp or the amp wiring that's causing this interference. gotta investigate some more...
so i just decided to upgrade the sony unit with a remote. now i can control the music by pressing the back of my steering wheel while driving... makes adjusting volume that much easier on the fly =) carry on...
